At BHS Cranberry, we take this philosophy one step further. Not only can you come to Dr. Mayer-Costa for quick treatment of minor injuries, common illnesses, sports-related ailments and other customary primary care services, he also provides cosmetic services as a part of Butler Health System's medical spa, BHS WholeHealth.

Meet the Doctor

Board-certified in family practice, Dr. Carlos Mayer-Costa did his residency in family medicine with UPMC St. Margaret and rotated between Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Magee Women's Hospital, Mercy Hospital and Western Psychiatric Hospital.

With a medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Dr. Mayer-Costa loves the way being a primary care doctor allows him to get to know his patients and their families.

"One of the great things about family medicine is that you can care for several generations of the same family," he said. "I have a patient who is 81 years old and I also see her great-grandson, who is two."

All services provided at BHS WholeHealth Medical Spa are also under the supervision of Dr. Mayer-Costa. As Medical Director, he specializes in providing comprehensive cosmetic offerings such as Botox/filler and laser skin services. BHS WholeHealth provides a full range of holistic relaxation, cosmetic and wellness services.
